DESPITE a public outcry over alleged preferential treatment for fraud parolee and ANC bigiwg Tony Yengeni, following his arrest on Sunday night on suspicion of drunken driving, the Correctional Services Department has remained tight-lipped.
On Monday, Department of Correctional Services spokesperson Manelisi Wolela said it would launch its own investigation.
He said the department would comment only once it had received a report into its investigation, but refused to say when this might be. …
