Promatech

Promatech (Somet and Vamatex) participated in both the 7th OTEMAS and ITMA Asia 2001. At OTEMAS, the company exhibited three rapier looms including the Somet Thema Super Excel, Vamatex Lernardo and Vamatex Leonardo Dyna Terry. At ITMA Asia, it showed a total of ten rapier and airjet looms at its stand: two new Somet Alpha rapier looms, one Somet Thema Super Excel rapier loom, three Somet Mythos air-jet looms, one Vamatex Leonardo FTS rapier loom, one Vamatex Leonardo rapier loom, one Vamatex Leonardo Dyna Terry rapier terry loom and one new K88 rapier loom.

The Somet Alpha is a modern, reliable and versatile rapier loom. Meanwhile, the K88 is an improvement over the famous Vamatex P1001 loom, and features a very high investment-performance relation, versatility and low running costs. The Leonardo featured the Hi Drive high drive motor, which is a new loom drive system with electronically controlled drive.

Demonstration at 7th OTEMAS

Somet Thema Super Excel HTP R/S2300: Equipped with a Fimtextile RD3020 dobby, highly sensitive whip roll and independent electronic selvedge, this rapier loom was weaving an apparel fabric of polyester warp and viscose/boucle weft at 520 rpm.

Vamatex Leonardo Dyna Terry R/52600: Equipped with a Staubli LX1600 jacquard (3,072 hooks), Staubli harnesses and dynamic pile formation movement, the loom was weaving terry towels at 460 rpm.

Vamatex Leonardo FTS R/ S 2300: Equipped with a Staubli 2670 dobby, independent electronic selvedge and guide free transfer system, the loom was weaving. a nylon technical apparel fabric at 520 rpm.

Demonstration at ITMA Asia

Somet Alpha, 1,900 mm width: Equipped with a Fimtextile 3020 ARF dobby, gripper floating guide and electronic leno fastening device, this rapier loom was weaving an apparel fabric at 620 rpm.

Somet Alpha, 3,600 mm width: Equipped with a Staubli 2670 e22 Bobby, 4 bridges tie-rods, monorail floating guide and electronic leno fastening device, this loom was weaving a denim at 430 rpm.

Somet Thema Super Excel, 1,900 mm width: Equipped with a Staubli CX 880 jacquard (2,688 hooks), Staubli harness, independent electronic selvedge, 12-color electronic selvedge and gripper floating guide, this looms was weaving a furnishing fabric at 580 rpm.

Somet Mythos, 1,900 mm width: Equipped with a Staubli 2871 Bobby, DRC4 quick hook-up, electronic leno drive, inverter, automatic filling repair and waste compactor, this air-jet loom was weaving an apparel fabric at 750 rpm.

Somet Mythos, 3,400 mm width: Equipped with a Fimtextile 2029 CS tappet motion with frame leveling system, pneumatic lateral tuck-in device, automatic filling repair and weft compactor, this loom was weaving a percale fabric at 700 rpm.

Somet Mythos, 1,900 mm width: Equipped with a Fimtextile 2029 CS tappet motion with leveling frame, photo-electric cell and automatic filling repair, this loom was weaving a Docker fabric at 950 rpm.

Vamatex Leonardo FTS, 1,900 mm width: Equipped with a Fimtextile 3020 Bobby, independent electronic selvedge and guide free transfer system, this rapier loom was weaving a technical apparel fabric at 630 rpm.

Vamatex Leonardo, 1,900 mm width: Equipped with a Staubli 2670 DRC 4 Bobby, high drive motor, independent electronic selvedge and whip-roll with direct load cell, this rapier loom was weaving a cotton shirting at 650 rpm.

Vamatex Dyna Terry, 2,600 mm width: Equipped with a Fimtextile RD 8605 Bobby, lateral and central tuck-in device, this rapier loom was weaving beach towels at 460 rpm.

Vamatex K88, 1,900 mm width: Equipped with a Fimtextile RD 860S Bobby, this rapier loom was weaving an apparel fabric at 550 rpm.

Somet Thema Super Excel, 1,900 mm width at Bonas stand: Equipped with a Bonas IBJ+ jacquard (2,688 hooks), independent electronic selvedge and gripper floating guide, this loom was weaving an upholstery fabric at 580 rpm.

Vamatex Leonardo Dyna Terry, 2,600 mm width at Bonas stand: Equipped with a Bonas MJ-6 jacquard (6,144 hooks), this loom was weaving beach towels at 450 rpm.
